People love Gladhill for its charming Maryland location and inviting, small-town courtesies. But we bring new meaning to the term “local” delivery, with a field of service that extends 75 miles from our store. We’ll take our old-fashioned approach right into your city locations!

Our preparedness begins with owning our own trucks and includes a working knowledge of traffic patterns that helps us show up on time – we make our 3-hour delivery window 100 percent of the time or your delivery is free. We’ll call ahead to confirm and do our best to be accommodating and flexible to your specific needs.

Beyond amazing additions to your home, you will also receive our utmost attention and care after your new furniture has been delivered. Please call our Customer Service Department at 301 371 6800 or email hlawyer@gladhill.com if you have a question or problem with your furniture. We will schedule an appointment to visit your home for an initial inspection, and our expert technicians can complete many repairs on the spot! If parts are needed, they’ll be ordered from the manufacturer and shipped directly to your home, then we’ll make a second visit to complete the repair. You’ll be glad to know that most repairs can be made in your home; however, some situations will require the transport of your item back to our shop.

Warranties & Guardsman

You’re protected with a One-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects on all new furniture purchased at Gladhill Fine Furnishings! This warranty does not include accidental damage, fabric wear and pilling, softening of cushions, cleaning, or normal maintenance. (Items sold as “clearance” are sold “AS IS” and do not include any warranty.) Most manufacturers offer limited warranties against manufacturing defects. Their warranty is limited to sending us a new part at no charge; they do not cover the charge for making a visit to the home nor for any labor to do repairs.

PARTS ORDERS - Most furniture manufacturers ship parts within 2-3 weeks. Some manufacturers will ship the parts directly to your home. If you are able to install the part yourself, you may request that the part be shipped directly to you.

CHARGES - repairs not covered by warranty can be performed in your home for $70.00 per hour with a one hour minimum charge. After one hour, you will be billed in 15 minute increments and for parts. The cost of parts is not included. You may request an estimate of costs before we proceed with repairs. Most manufacturers will send us parts at no charge to replace factory defective parts. However, if the furniture is over one year old, or if the part must be replaced due to misuse, you may incur a charge for the parts. You will be advised of the cost of any parts before they are ordered.

You may also purchase a Guardsman Elite® Furniture Protection Plan for protection against stains and damages in multiple furniture categories including fabric, leather, vinyl, and wood. With this plan, professional stain removal advice is available by calling 1-877-584-4653. You can also receive in-home stain removal or repair service when needed. If the stain cannot be removed, or the furniture is not repairable, Guardsman will replace the affected part, or the entire piece of furniture with an item of equivalent value. This plan does NOT cover damage caused by the teeth or claws of pets, nor normal wear and tear. Call 1-877-584-4653 within five days of the occurrence to place a service request with Guardsman.
