Product Information

Description

With its vintage aesthetic and beautiful workmanship, this wooden mantel clock commands attention at a glance. Its rich hue evokes dramatic elegance, while ornate design features set it apart from other styles. Perfect as the finishing touch for a living room or family room, it presides over a fireplace with ease, yet fits just as seamlessly into any well-coordinated, traditional space. Exquisite Styling: Its Cherry Bordeaux finish is rich and elegant, while the front glass door is etched with book-matched jewel box white ash burl overlays for a distinctive finish. The decorative keystone and moldings complement the traditional design. Swing open the door to access the dial and movement. Ornate Workmanship: A polished, brass-finished bezel lends the dial an eye-catching finish, with a bold disk in the center and a silver chapter ring. The latter features applied brass Arabic numerals and contrasting black hands, resulting in a strong, dramatic appearance. The finishing touch is a rotating, polished brass-finished pendulum that’s visible directly below the dial. Thanks to this clock’s beveled glass panels, it’s easy to observe the intricacy of the movement. Pendulum Movement: Pendulum movement requires one AA sized battery. Chime Movement: High-precision, key-wound, Westminster chime movement playing 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes with full chime and strike by the hour. Howard Miller: Founded in 1926 and still family-owned in its third generation, Howard Miller is the world’s leading clock company and a respected brand name in fine specialty furnishings such as curio cabinets, wine & bar furnishings, custom storage cabinets, and SmartMoves® adjustable height desks.
